We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual.The  primary function is to gather and document system interface requirements for software  projects; create Traceability Matrix and Functional Specification Documents and be a liaison between business, development and testing teams through project life cycle. Must have strong interpersonal and analytical skills and good understanding of all phases of the project development cycle; SDLC, Traceability Matrix and Functional Specification Design documents

Responsibilities

The role of the Business Analyst will include the following responsibilities:

-Collate, understand and document business, functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring stakeholders have a shared understanding
-Work with internal developers and external third parties to ensure changes are carried out to achieve a benefit to the business
-Take ownership for the testing process
-Evaluate commercial off-the-shelf packages and other software
-Work with users and existing providers to ensure the smooth and timely implementation of any changes
-Define and document new business processes, using the existing processes as guidelines, suggesting changes to processes and systems where necessary
-Manage own workload effectively, ensuring progress reports are kept up to date
-Define relevant guidelines, create user guides and other documentation as required

Applicants interested in the role of the Business Analyst should ideally possess the following skills and experience:

-Able to understand business processes in order to meet strategic objectives
-Confident in taking part in decision making discussions and communicating all findings with the development team
-Able to handle and prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines
-An ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis is desirable
-Able to communicate with all levels of the business such as end users, stakeholders, developers and third parties
-Proven track record of analysis and requirement gathering skills
Qualifications
To be successful for this role you will need to keep up to date with technical and industry sector developments and awareness of evolvement of relevant technologies .

You will have previous experience of working in Agile environments (SCRUM experience is an added advantage)

Once you have established yourself, it is intended that you would want to ultimately progress to a Business Analyst position and will therefore demonstrate the following skills:

Good leadership skills in order to obtain appropriate information and to arrange and co-ordinate projects

Possess a high attention to detail
Able to work outside Accra for extended periods of time
