We are seeking experienced, and  hands-on, Project Manager with strong BA skills skills to join our firm as dedicated full-time employees. This role will be responsible for helping drive business requirements for  projects .  This would include working with cross-functional teams to identify and document business requirements, working  to convert business requirements into user stories, and coordinating business and technology stakeholders to help lead the initiatives to success. This is a leadership role managing one or several projects and requires a professional with executive presence and comfort with presenting to senior level stakeholders.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

•   Oversee and drive  projects
•   Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather and document cross-functional project requirements
•   Author and validate user stories based on business requirements
•   Develop and maintain strong relationship with business partners and technology team
•   Develop business testing approach and work with project members to execute the test plan
•   Facilitate cross-functional project team meetings and maintain project budgets
•   Support development of business cases for initiatives

Primary Skills/Competencies:

Business Aptitude:

? Good understanding of technical concepts
? Able to present to business sponsors & stakeholders in a structured manner
? Strong storytelling ability to create executive level presentations
? Able to diagram/whiteboard business flow processes
? Ability to manage and track budgets

Technology Aptitude:

? Experience working with an Agile teams and creating and refining user stories

? Proficient comprehension of project management methodologies and project lifecycle

? General understanding of technology architecture (services, applications, etc)

 

Detailed Job Duties and Responsibilities:

•   Oversee phases of project  including discovery, design, development, and delivery
•   Schedule and facilitate cross-functional project team meetings
•   Gather and document project requirements – based on input from project stakeholders
•   Assess, research, analyze and document sponsor/stakeholder needs
•   Develop and maintain strong relationship with business partners and technology team
•   Author and validate user stories based on business requirements .
•   Develop business testing approach and work with project members to execute test plan
•   Develop and coordinate training and communications plan for hotels and internal stakeholders
•   Coordinate pilot implementation
•   Manage project documentation (implementation plan, issues log, process maps, etc.)
•   Perform other duties as assigned

 Skills and Competencies:
•   Proficient comprehension of project management methodologies and project lifecycle
•   Capable of writing clear and well-structured business requirements documents
•   Strong facilitation and presentation skills
•   Ability to present to  senior business sponsors & stakeholders in a structured manner
•   Ability to diagram/whiteboard business flow processes
•   Ability to quickly learn organizational structure, business strategies and processes
•   Ability to resolve minor conflicts/issues using different tactics prior to escalation
•   Ability to drive team results in a structured and professional manner
